This was one heck of a great day out.Up from lovely
Malcesine,Lake Garda through the Adige Valley
stopping on way at Canize, where they have local
Dolomite lingo known as Ladin.Did not attempt.
Amazing cable car trip up to 1000ft Dolomite tops.
The dog and owner a welcome sight for dog loving me.
Still curious about them.

Jean on one of the Sella tops,Dolomite thrillers

What a trip.

Just back last Sat from the best yet of several Lake Garda hols. This one
the hottest yet with 90temp each day,no cloud all week.
Based in favourite haunt Malcesine again, but, this time at southern end of town. Trip to Paina beach end on Sunday
proved problematic for me,could hardly find space to both swim and laze.
Now in love with the southern end of strand, Excelsior Bay and downward.
Should not quibble, the whole Malcesine area is ace.
Some great pictures taken of Malcesine and our visits to Mount Baldo then to
magnificent Dolomites.Dolomites were indeed a trip , Jean fell on one of
the summits at 10thousand feet plus ,not ideal tripping territory.
We also walked from Torbole to Riva an exhilirating stroll.I found plenty room for swimming halfway there while Jean did some watercolour work.
Shock horror on arriving at Riva we could not find Jean's digital camera
misplaced on walk,in Riva outskirts.Good thing is we have 2 cameras so still
have some superb shots to show of Malcesine and Dolomites. If any kind blogger hears of a neat little Linux digital found abandoned in Riva we
would be very glad to know.
