Is it quzzes?

Still enjoying time with our latest canine fun companion the 3 to 6 yr old
Nancy. Some details re origin unknown,so estimated age.Whatever the true age
she can easily be taken for a youngster, even a pup.
Whatever. She is highly active and can cover ground like a greyhound and love
the thrill of it.
The only real problem is she has recently taken to hyperactivity when TV
is on.Not all TV but particularly after 5pm.Quiz show "Pointless" teatime
viewing sends her on house safari as does 8pm "University Challenge".
I'm currently being a gent and avoiding those 2 shows but, come on Nancy
play the game pal!!!

Trip error

We parked on the Quayside this sunny morning and strolled over Millenium bridge to Sage
expecting to enjoy the annual art exhibition. It starts next weekend hence erroneous trip
heading.
learned that Sage are having a Percy Grainger Weekend 11 to 13 November so have some of that
event to look forward to,Sage booklet describes PG as "one of the most wonderful and weird
musicians ever to have walked the face of the planet"
I've heard some of these judgements before, such as his habit of dashing fro one end to another
of a venue twixt movememts of concerti.Apparently he was Grieg's preferred soloist for the
Norwegians own concerto.
I'm surprised a film has not been made of Grainger's remarkable and sometimes eccentric life.
His fellow Aussie Russell Crowe has the edgy presence to fit the role. No eccentricity to
Percy's own delightful folky opus.

Toon futures extra.

Apologies to any readers my last blog,on Toon future, I talked of Joey Barton possibly going also his fellow Lancastrian.Forgot to name
the pal, it is of course, the redoubtable Captain Kevin Nolan.Don't go Kev
we need you and your tendency to score goals.

Toon futures.

Newcastle's first season back in the premiership was a curates egg ie good in parts.
Main plus is that we survived, second one:never looked like going down again.
The season over doesn't mean switch off till next one though, cos, the mystery of who's going and who will be bought keeps Toon big in the news,up here anyway.
Heavy rumours that Jose Enrique will head south Liverpool or Man U not good news, nor is the failure to have Joey Barton sign a new contract,or
has he not been offered one.His pal and fellow Lancastrian is also a
doubtful starter for next season. But,it's never dull on Toonside the
latest dreams are that Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch may head north and join us.Not unanimously popular, but,I hope they do.
